Our Story
You know the scenario (and perhaps you’re living it right now): it’s a new season and your budding athlete screams “IT DOESN’T FIT!”. You race to their side in horror and disbelief, grab
the barely worn cleat and exclaim, “BUT WE JUST BOUGHT THEM!”. You will then most likely inspect the cleat and ponder, “now what do we do with them?”. Onto the pile of unwanted sports gear they fly, where they’re likely to remain until ultimately landing in landfill. This is the experience that led our family to launch Swap It Sports.
Our Mission
Did you know that 45 million U.S. families purchase sporting gear each year while 80% of those youth athletes quit before age 15? Swap It Sports is the marketplace for buying and selling that gently used sports equipment and clothing. In addition to cleaning out your garage and making some extra dough while doing it, Swap it Sports is the best place to find that next size bat, breeches or affordable hockey skates - and all for a fraction of the cost of buying new.
